Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra is currently holding extensive work sessions with director Majdi Abu Ameereh, to decide upon a new look for the star in her upcoming television drama “Imra’a Adieh” (An Ordinary Woman).
Yusra stressed that she wants “a look that matches the character in the drama, and not just anything for the sake of appearing different.”
She will begin shooting the first scenes of the drama in July to have it ready for screening during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The drama marks Yusra’s third cooperation with young scenarist Mohammad Ashraf. Mohammad wrote the leading role especially for Yusra, as was the case for their two previous dramas, “Malak Rouhi’ and “Lika Ala El Hawa.”
The director has nominated the remaining cast of the series, which includes Muna Shalabi, Khaled Saleh, Suad Nasr, Izzat Abu Ouf, Nihal Ambar, Khaled Zaki and In’am Salouseh.
Yusra stated that she and the cast and crew have agreed to not disclose any details about the drama, in order to avoid copyright infringements on the screenplay.
