Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra is currently holding extensive work sessions with a number of poets to choose the appropriate songs for her second album. Yusra revealed that her second encounter in the music world will be an extremely different experience than that of her first album.
Yusra stressed that the new album will contain a variety of songs that suit all tastes in order to attract as many listeners as possible. Yusra stressed she will continue to sing and make music videos despite the strong criticism she faced. The actress is also holding extensive work sessions with composer Hameed Al Sha’erri to decide on a new song for her to sing and film as a music video.
Yusra noted that the criticism she received was mainly due to her entering the music industry and not her voice or the actual songs she sang. She added that it is her right to sing or not and people should not interfere in the decisions she makes.
The first music album for Yusra had proven a lot of success among listeners especially children, whom were the main target Yusra was focusing on throughout the album. The actress revealed that due to the success she achieved she is currently working on releasing a second album and is hopeful it too will reach people’s hearts. Yusra admitted that she does not consider herself to be a professional singer, but rather she sees herself as a performer.
Right before completing the filming the scenes of her upcoming film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk), Yusra has already begun preparation for next film “Thawrit Al Nisa” (Women’s Revolution), where she plays the role of the famous journalist Muna Rajab. The film revolves around important issues that women face in today’s society especially in the Eastern cultures.
