Numerous commercials are being aired on Egyptian channels during Egyptian actress Yusra’s new Ramadan television drama series “Khas Jidan” (Strictly Confidential).
The series is being aired on the Egypt local channel, Nile Drama and other Egyptian satellite channels.
President of the company ‘Sawt Al Qahirah,’ head of the marketing department on the Egyptian channel, said that Yusra’s latest drama series has drawn the highest number of commercials compared to any other Ramadan series.
A large number of advertisers wanted to promote their products on television during Yusra’s series, according to ‘Sawt Al Qahirah,’ adding that the number of advertisements aired during “Khas Jidan” exceeded the total number of advertisements aired during the rest of the drama series aired on Egyptian channels during Ramadan.
“Khas Jidan” revolves around a psychiatrist played by Yusra that tries to help everyone around her, getting herself into trouble.
The series also stars Mahmoud Qabil, Raja Al Jidawi, Izat Abu Oof, Yusra Al Lawzi, Eyad Nasar and Tamer Harjas.
The series is written by Tamer Habib, directed by Ghada Salim and produced by Jamal Al Adel.
