Egyptian director Yousif Sharif is still in critical condition, in a coma. His doctors performed brain surgery at the American hospital in Paris.
Dr. Hani Nimat Allah, the medical attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Paris, said the famous director is still in coma.
The producer Jabi Khouri and the nephew of Shaheen, said that the doctors attributed the bleeding to a blow Shaheen received to his head.
The Arab Film Festival, held in Rotterdam, Holland will screen the latest of Shaheen’s films “Heya Fawda” (Its Crowded), which he directed alongside Khaled Yousif. Both Egyptian directors Khaled Yousif and Yusri Naser Allah apologized for not being present at the festival because of Shaheen’s condition.
