Producer Waleed Al Tab’ee has assured that the disputes between him and Egyptian actress Yasmeen Abdul Aziz, which had caused a halt in filming the scenes of the film “Al Hub Al Akheer”, have finally ended. The two sides reached a mutual understanding, and Yasmeen agreed to return to the film set to continue filming of the scenes.
Yasmeen Abdul Aziz had filed a lawsuit against Waleed demanding that she is given the wage she is entitled to, after taking part in his film “Al Hub Al Akheer”. The problem began when after weeks of filming the scenes, Yasmeen had gone to the bank to cash a check that was given to her by Waleed, but was in shock when she realized that the check bounced because he did not have a balance.
Yasmeen kept repeatedly trying to call Waleed but he ignored all her attempts, leading her to withdraw from the film. The actress stressed that despite the fact that the amount is little she will take Waleed to court and make him pay her every penny she earned.
On his part, Waleed filed a complaint to the Actors Association against Yasmeen for her refusal to continue her role in the film. Waleed stressed that Yasmeen’s allegations that he did not pay her is not true and in fact all the cast were paid in full. Waleed added that he has proof that Yasmeen cashed the check and will use it when it is necessary.
