According to the London daily Elaph, the music channel “Melody” started airing the new video clip for the song “Shofto Min Be’eed” (I Saw Him from Afar) by the Lebanese artist Yara. The song was written by the poet Nizar Francis, composed by Jan Mary Riyashi and the clip was directed by Joe Bo Eid. The song was released on the album “Bilax” (The Opposite) that was distributed by Jan Mary Riyashi. The album also featured songs by a number of Lebanese artists, Rami Ayash.
The clip was filmed in studios and on location in the center of Beirut in the Al Normandy and Al Biyal areas. This was the fourth time that Yara worked with the director Joe Bo Eid, although two of the previous clips were not as successful as the clip for her Khaliji song “Sodfah” (By Coincidence). This time Bo Eid created a cheerful picture of Yara, where she goes to the circus to remember her love.
