ALBAWABA - Arab fans of Turkish drama are asking whether the series would temporarily stop during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan 2026 began in several countries, like Saudi Arabia and the UAE on Wednesday, while in Turkey, the holy month started on Thursday.
Will Turkish series stop during Ramadan?

It is worth noting that thousands of Arab fans usually follow with excitement the Turkish drama, and they eagerly await a new episode every week. However, it is known as well that during Ramadan, the Arab drama is rich with loads of series, which could lower the number of viewership of the Turkish drama.
Dozens of Turkish series are very popular currently in the region, including "Güller ve Günahlar," "Kıskanmak," "Uzak Şehir," "Taşacak Bu Deniz," and "Yeraltı".
However, there are no official statements regarding the status of the shows during Ramadan, which means that the series will continue to broadcast.
