The popular show “What You Don’t Know about Nancy Ajram,” aired on the Arab satellite television channel MBC last year, is about to begin its second season and will introduce a new star.

Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama will star in this year’s season and footage of his everyday life will be captured at his home in Paris with his family. The program will be aired in three episodes and Ragheb the star, the husband, and the father will all be revealed.

According to the London based Elaph, MBC will exclusively air a number of music videos by Ragheb, in addition to his most recent concerts in Mauritania, where Ragheb was the first Arab singer to ever hold a performance.

Footage from the signer’s different entertainment events will also be featured in the program, along with interviews with his family and friends in order to cover all aspects of his life.

The show, aired exclusively on MBC, revolves around the life of an artist from the start of his or her career to the present.

Ragheb and his family left Lebanon during the recent Lebanese-Israeli war and now reside in Paris.  During the war Ragheb contributed to numerous relief efforts and donated food items, clothing, and medicine.

The singer cancelled all entertainment activities during the war, dedicating all of his time to helping Lebanese victims.

Shortly before the war, Ragheb returned from the United States and Canada where he held a number of concerts.  It was his first trip to the US after a four-year absence.
