ALBAWABA - Egyptian stars Hossam Habib and Sherine Abdel Wahab have recently been the talk of social media after reports confirmed that the former couple are back together, despite the difficult hurdles they faced in their past relationships.
On the contrary, Habib has found himself in hot water for something different, with unconfirmed documents revealing that the Egyptian singer was reportedly arrested for being involved in a drug case. According to Lebanon 24, his name was included in a testimony from one of the defendants in the case.

Photos of the documents, described as investigation papers, flooded social media. However, an official confirmation from local authorities remains unverified, making the documents at hand lacking in their legal significance.
During an Instagram live stream with Egyptian journalist Basma Wahba, Hossam Habib told her that he was shocked and saddened by the spread of rumors of his arrest. Habib added that this wasn't the first time false rumors had spread about him.
Habib also said, "I was not arrested, I am at home, and Sherine is also at her home," stressing and urging fans and social media sites to stop spreading misinformation regarding the couple.
Hossam Habib accused the people spreading the rumors of trying to ruin his reputation in the industry. However, he stressed that he has no plans to pursue legal measures against those responsible.
