Whew, thank God that was just gossip again. We were getting more than a little concerned when rumors began running at sprint pace that Syrian actor Wael Sharaf was killed in a missile attack in Damascus. How relieved we now are to know that our beloved character "Mu'taz" in the popular television drama "Bab Al Harah" (The Neighborhood Gate) hasn't kicked the bucket quite yet.
The Syrian Actors Syndicate immediately jumped to deny the false reports that they claimed were created by sick individuals.
The star, in like fashion, assured his fans on Faebook that he is alive and well by posting a comment on his Facebook account saying, "Thank you to everyone who called to check up on me and make sure I am alive and well. I assure you that I am well and the rumor is a big lie. My love to you all."
You'd think we'd know better by know as this is like the bazillionth time rumors of his death had spread. We are happy to be wrong on this one.
Were you freaking out like we were by the scary report? Please share your fears in the comment box below.
