Impatient fans of the Turkish series “Fatima”, being aired on MBC4, hungry for more Fatima trivia, have been asking tons of questions through social media about the future of Fatima and Karim’s relationship and the fate of Fatima’s rapists.
These questions have been piling up since a video of the series finale was posted on YouTube, only to transpire later to be some kind of publicity stunt, it was learnt. The series is still running in Turkey and the finale has not been aired yet.
The cast of the series have dismissed any circulating hearsay regarding the final episodes, and the author of the series confirmed that she is still not done even writing the scenes of the 74th episode, and that the remaining episodes are still not fully decided yet.
'Fatima's' director Hilal Saral, famous for her series’ sad endings, not least of all with her hit soap Forbidden Love (Isk il Mamnu) which incidentally stars the same lead, Beren Saat, known for quite the hard-hitting ending, admitted that the ending of Fatima will be quite surprising. She will say this - that it will witness the death of one of the main characters.
Which matches up to what Fatima, actress Beren Saat, stated earlier over her personal Twitter account, indicating that the ending of the series will be 'unexpected'.
So, viewers, keep guessing for now, cause it doesn't look like we're going to get a spoiler alert any time soon, as the series in progress unfolds.
