Lebanese actress Sireen Abd Al Nour revealed that she has received numerous threats and insults from an individual over the internet, and after she filed a complaint the perpetrator was caught and arrested.
Sireen stated on her official page on the social network Facebook that web crime law enforcement police were able to identify the perpetrator threatening her and it turned out to be a 14 year old girl. The young girl was arrested and sentenced to a two month prison term.
Sireen added that she dropped charges against the young girl after her father, who was shocked by his daughter’s actions, pleaded to Sireen stating that his daughter is still immature and does not know the consequences of her actions. Sireen agreed to drop charges and asked the father and all parents to watch their children more closely while they are using the internet and to teach their young children that toying with people’s life is not a game.
