Egyptian singer Tamer Husni is anxiously awaiting the screening of his upcoming film “Halet Hub” (A Dose of Love), which will mark his first leading role in the cinema, during the Muslim holiday Eid El Fitr. The final scene of the film was taken from a live concert the singer held, for making it more realistic.
The film costars Tunisian actress Hind Sabri and is written by Ahmad Abdul Fatah and directed by Saed Hindawi. The movie had previously went through difficulties caused by Tamer who demanded he gets his copyrights since the story of the film was his, which he wrote four years ago. The cast of the film insisted that the rights go to the scenarist of the film Abdul Fatah and Tamer caved in to their wishes not wanting problems to exceed further.
Husni is currently preparing to film a new music video for the song “Albi Shail Minak” (My Heart is Hurt by You) under the direction of Nasr Mahrous. Tamer is hopeful that his new song will find satisfaction among viewers and bring success to his album that has not been witnessing any success.
The album features nine songs, three of which are written by producer Nasr and fall under the romance genre. The singer filmed one of the songs in the form of a video clip. –Albawaba.com
