Well, happy birthday Ms. M! Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din celebrated 34 years of life on January 19, and a kind celebrity greeting on the day of her birth gave her fans something to rejoice over too: she and Tamer Hosny are still buds.
Word on the street was that she and her co-patriot superstar were on the outs after she had turned down the nomination to star alongside him in his upcoming drama "Yasin". Allegedly Mai was offered a part in the drama scheduled for the Ramadan drama marathon this year, and when she declined the character given, rumors arose of disputes between the two.
All fears were calmed, however, when Tamer took time to wish her a polite birthday greeting on his Facebook page.
Along with the photo, Tamer wrote, "Happy birthday to the most beautiful 'Salma' in the world, 'Omar'." Salma and Omar are the roles in the sequel film Tamer and Mai acted in together "Omar and Salma", which were a big hit.
Looks like everything between the talented two is A-ok after all!
