Syrian director Asaad Eid has recently started shooting his new TV series “The Line of the End”, in old Damascus. It is scripted by Hani al Saadi who returns to the detective drama following a number of historical and social series, according to the daily Syria Times.
The series deals with various social themes, mainly revenge. Throughout the series, the director tries to determine the reasons that push individuals to commit crimes and carry out acts that contradict social traditions and values. The director stresses the importance of rejecting excuses for these acts under any circumstances, stressing that man should live honorable life away from all acts that contradict law and social values. He emphasizes that man should overcome difficulties of his life without breaking the law.
