Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi is currently going through a sever depression because of an excessive swelling of her cheeks. The singer is experiencing inflammation due to the plastic surgery she underwent to her face recently.

Nawal has called off all public appearances not wanting her audience to see her in such a state, in addition to refusing to answer any phone calls due to the depression she is going through, reported the Kuwait based daily, Al Qabas.

The singer also turned down all offers to undergo interviews with the press, whether for television or different newspapers. Nawal stressed that she will not interact with anyone until her face returns to normal, and the only person she sees is her doctor, who is giving her strict orders to stay away from the spotlight and get as much rest as possible.

Nawal recently released her latest album, which was delayed many times, under the production of Alam El Phan Production Company. Nawal had stressed that the delay for the release was due to the fact that she had heard two new songs and was very impressed with them and so decided to record them and include them in the album.

Nawal denied circulating rumors that the delay of the album was due to disputes between her and Muhsin Jaber, owner of Alam El Phan. Nawal stressed that the two are on excellent terms and she holds high respect for him and his company. She added that the delay was in her advantage because it means a better quality for her work.

It was revealed that pirated CDs of one of Nawal's new songs were being sold in Syrian black markets. The song "Bi Aynak" (In Your Eyes) was copied off a special program on one of the Arab satellite television channels, and is said to be selling many copies.

Al Zoughbi was scheduled to film a second music video for the song “Ainak Kadabeen” (Lying Eyes) from her upcoming album, but decided to postpone the idea at last minute, stressing that the first song “Bi Ayinak” (In Your Eyes) is suitable enough to be released with her album. The singer had stressed that the song from the first clip she filmed features a more cheerful atmosphere and the idea behind it is more practical than the second song, which implies a more romantic mood.

The clip is directed by the famous Lebanese director Nadine Labki, who also directed the hit songs "Akhasmak Aah" (I'll Upset You), "Ya Salam" (Oh My) and, "Siher Oyounoh" (The Magic of his Eyes) for Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. The new video clip was shot in Al Ashrafieh one of Beirut suburbs under the supervision of technical director Yahia Sa’adeh. The clip introduces Nawal in a new look with the help of makeup specialist Elly Fagali and hairstylist Toni Mindaliq. Nawal has been absent from the scenes for some time, since she released her album "Illy ITemanaytoh" (The One I Wished For). -Albawaba.com
