News reports have accused Syrian actress Suzan Najm Al Din of fleeing Syria and going to the United States of America after security conditions in Syria worsened. On her part, Suzan denied all rumors and stressed that her trip to the USA was planned prior to the outburst of demonstrations in Syria against the current government of President Bashar Al Asad.
The reports that were released by the Algerian newspaper Al Shurooq, were not confirmed especially since during her stay in the USA Suzan had publicly stated that she fully supports the current government of Al Asad.
According to the internet website MBC.net, the newspaper had reported that close contacts to Suzan had informed them that Suzan had fled to the USA after disputes erupted between her and her husband over their differences in political opinion and her unconditional support to Al Asad.
The newspaper also stated that at first Suzan insisted on remaining in Syria and not accompanying her family to the United States, but then changed her mind when she realized that her decision may mean she will lose her family forever.
