Prominent Egyptian actress Summaya Al Ulfi finished writing the last episode of her TV drama “Yom Min Hayat Mumathela Mashoura” (A Day in the Life of a Famous Actress), marking a first time experience as scenarist. The drama took Summaya two years to finish writing the drama due to her busy schedule and participation in various works.
The idea of the drama is taken from Sumamya’s own experience in the acting world and will feature different instances she went through throughout her journey as an actress. Summaya wanted to taken on the challenge of writing the drama herself in order to test her capabilities and broaden her career.
Recently, Summaya traveled to Paris-France in the upcoming couple days to undergo surgery after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The actress expressed was very optimistic that the operation would be a successful one and she was able to return to life in no time.
Summaya’s immediate travel had caused the director of the TV drama series “Kanari Wa Shurakah” (Kanari and his Partners), in which she stars in alongside her ex-husband Farouq Al Fishawi and Lucy, to halt the filming of the scenes until she returned from Paris safely and in good health. The actress had underwent several tests in Egypt at first, and her doctors advised her to go to Paris to have the surgery done. –Albawaba.com
