Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab has been nominated to host the upcoming “Riddles” show, scheduled to air during the holy month of Ramadan.

The show consists of thirty episodes in which the actress will present acting and singing performances. She is currently taking extensive dance lessons in preparation.

Summaya has postponed shooting her upcoming film “Al Sa’adah Bain Aideek” (Happiness is in Your Hands) for another month due to a conflict with her scheduled vacation with her husband to Paris.

Summaya agreed to play the leading role in the film, alongside Lebanese singers Nicole Saba and Khaled Abu Al Naja.

Lebanese director Ramón Wahbi agreed to Summaya’s postponement, since Nicole is also busy furnishing her new Cairo apartment.

Summaya has just completed the final scenes for her upcoming film “Amarit Ya’qoubain,” alongside prominent Egyptian actors Nour El Sharif and Adel Imam.

Summaya also stars with Egyptian folk singer Hakim in the film “Ali Spicy,” recently launched in Cairo.

The film, produced by the Arab Company for Production and Distribution, is Hakim’s entrance into the acting world, although reviews have been poor.

The plot centers around a medical student and passionate singer named Ali, who attempts to heal his patents with music.
