Kuwait music distributor Fahed announced that he and Egyptian singer Angham have officially divorced after a five year marriage. The couple have a two year old son together.
Rumors claim that Fahed had a number of affairs while they were married, which Angham has denied.
Fahed had said to one of the Arab newspapers that he could not put up with their life together, and had to divorce his wife. He has moved into a private home in Maser Al Jidedah in Cairo.
Angham did not comment, stating that divorce is a private matter.
Angham has finished filming the video clip for her song “Kol Ma Na’rab” (Every Time We Get Close) from her new album.
She is also planning to hold a number of concerts and is set to appear in her first feature film.
Recently Angham was accused of filming a video clip at a historic Mosque in Cairo, which she denied.
