Egyptian actress Hanan Shawqi is geering up for the shooting of her new TV series "Asifa Min Al Madi" (Storm from the Past), infront of actors Kamal Abu Raya, Tareq Dusuki, Shaima', as well as others.
The UAE daily, Al Bayan reported on Saturday that the young actress will start shooting the scenes in the few coming days in Cairo. In the series, Shawqi plays the role of a young woman, who fights against all people trying to ruin her marriage to her husband due to his bad past.
Earlier last month, the star confirmed news circulating about a joint project with Hollywood actress Demi Moor. Shawqi confirmed that she would be leaving for the United States upon an agreement she would conclude with a production company to star in an American movie. "The production company has nominated me and I accepted after reading the scenario," said Shawqi, adding that it's a great opportunity for every Arab artist to have.
The movie, which name was not revealed, depicts the story of two twin sisters one living in Cairo and the other in the US. The sisters face so many problems but successfully overcome all the obstacles. – Albawaba.com
