Stephen Baldwin, the actor and father of model Hailey Bieber, has publicly asked for prayers for his daughter and her husband, pop star Justin Bieber.
On Monday, Feb. 26, he reposted a video from Victor Marx, a pastor and founder of All Things Possible Ministries, on his Instagram story. The video showed Justin playing the guitar and singing a Christian song, “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever”.
In the caption of the video, Marx wrote, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them, to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord.” He also added that the couple faces “special challenges” and “spiritual warfare” due to their high visibility and fame.
Stephen did not explain why he was asking for prayers, nor did he comment on the video. However, Marx claimed that he and his wife pray with Hailey’s mother, Kennya Baldwin, “often”. He also thanked his followers for their support.
Hailey and Justin, who have been married since 2018, have not responded to Stephen’s request.
Justin, who has been open about his faith and struggles with mental health, canceled his Justice World Tour in 2022 after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a rare condition that affects the nerves in the ear and face. He made his comeback performance at the NHL All-Star Player draft in Toronto on Feb. 1, 2024.
