Egyptian director Hani Lashin has begun shooting the first scenes of the new TV series Zaman Emadiddin at Emadiddin Neighborhood which has been constructed at the Media Production City deliberately for this series.
The series scripted by Abdel Sattar Fathi is produced by the Radio and TV Union’ s Production Department.
Costarring in the series is a large group of artists including Dalal Abdel Aziz, Sawsan Bader, Wael Noor, Mahmoud Qabil, Abdel Mine’m Madbouli, Ezzat Abu Auf, Ahmed Khalil, Hasan Hosni, Shireen and Dunia Samir Ghanem.
The series depicts the period between World War I until 1949 including the war in Palestine in 1948.
“The production sector has made all the financial and technological resources needed for the series available at the Media Production City including the sets, neighborhoods and theaters,” the head of the Production Department, Farag Abu al Farag told the daily al Ahram -- Albawaba.com
