Renowned Egyptian actress Yusra has lately become one of the hottest actresses wanted for numerous advertising commercials by different internationally known companies. The actress has witnessed so much popularity throughout her acting career that companies feel she is the best candidate for their commercials.
The actress has recently signed a contract with the American Network Company Showtime to be the star of their advertising campaign in the Arab world. Yusra has already completed a number of TV commercials that are being advertised on Showtime’s Arabic channels and intends on appearing in more, reported the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Yusra revealed in a press conference she held in Dubai that her upcoming commercial will be a big surprise in which it will deal with Showtime’s channel Disney. The actress stressed that she is overwhelmed with being chosen by such an important company among so many other actresses, a matter which proves that she has reached international stardom.
On a different note, Director Majdi Abu Ameereh has chosen Yusra and Lebanese international actor Omar El Sherif for the leading roles in his upcoming film "Malik Rouhi" (King Over My Soul). The film is scheduled to begin shooting of the scenes in the very near future.
The director had previously undergone extensive negotiations with Omar to star in the film and only shortly did the actor give his final acceptance to take the role. Yusra on her part has expressed her joy at given the chance to act alongside such a prominent and well-known actor worldwide, adding that the film will add a great deal to her career.
After her apparent success with playing the role of a mother, Yusra has been nominated for a new film 'Ana Wi Hia Wa Banatha" (Me, Her, and Her Daughters), and has given her initial acceptance.
Yusra was chosen among many other actresses for the fact that her role in the past Ramadan drama series "Ayna Qalbi" (Where is My Heart), she had won a huge popularity and the series was one of the most watched shows throughout Ramadan. The film revolves around a mother of four girls each with a contradicting personality compared to the other. The girls despite all the mother's efforts to protect them are pulled into a murder case.
