Shortly after the release of her latest album “Lazem Eish” (I Have to Live), Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab has achieved the highest record sales for the summer season.

Shireen and her record producer Nasr Mahrous were finally able to resolve their differences after Mahrous agreed to remedy the errors of the past few months.

Shireen had filed a lawsuit against Mahrous, demanding to break the contract between them. Shireen claimed that Nasr only produced one album for her every two years, a matter that negatively affects her career and is against the stipulations of their contract, which clearly states he must produce an album for her, yearly.

Shireen explained that she must present a new music style in order to maintain her career, and Mahrous has promised to offer her the necessary resources.

Shireen denied that she has received attractive offers from other production companies or that an outside party was influencing her position. If there was another company she intended to sign with, they could have simply pay the fees required to break her contract, ending the whole dilemma, the singer explained.
