The Egyptian singer Shireen Abed Al Wahab also known as “Shireen Ah Ya Lail” has given back a sum of 50 thousand dollars, which was part of her payment for hosting a concert and singing at various tents during the holy month of Ramadan.
Shireen’s decision to return the money and not sing at the Ramadan tents was made by her doctor after she found out that she was pregnant. Shireen’s doctor advised her to take time off and rest in bed, because too much work during the first trimester might be dangerous for her and for her unborn child.
Before finding out that she was pregnant, Shireen made deals with four different tents owner to host a concert at their tents and each was going to pay her 30 thousand dollars. She also apologized to host various concerts in Lebanon and at Gulf countries during the holy month for the same reason.
