Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab denies circulating rumors that she married a Libyan singer named Ahmad Ghazali.
According to the London based daily, Al Hayat, Shireen stated that Ahmad is merely a good friend and is not even a singer, but a businessman who is friendly with a number of stars.
If there was a relationship between them, she would make it public, she added.
Shireen also mentioned that the same rumor was created about her and singer Tamer Hosni not so long ago.
On another note, problems between Shireen and her former producer Nasr Mahrous seem endless.
Disputes have arisen once again after Shireen decided to film her upcoming music video "Ala Bali" (On My Mind) with a Lebanese director instead of Mahrous. The contract between the two stipulates that Mahrous direct all video clips for the singer.
Shireen decided to break her contract with Mahrous' company ‘Free Music’ and pay the penalty, opting to stay in London until her lawyer has settled the matter.
Thus far, Mahrous has refused to accept the compensation.
