Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab has gone on a short vacation to Sharm El Sheikh, where she is scheduled to spend a few days relaxing with her family. The singer revealed that upon her return she will officially release her latest album.
According to the Egyptian based weekly, Al Nogoom, Shireen will hold a grand celebration for the release followed by a press conference. Shireen has been living a very hectic schedule traveling from one Arab country to the next holding concerts and meetings.
On a different note, a new surprise by Ahmad Hilmi has surfaced in the dilemma between him and Shireen. Ahmad has sent a new warning to the singer demanding that she starts coming to his studio twice a week to record a new album under the title "Wayak" (With You).
Ahmad has also requested of the Egyptian Musician Association to permit the release of a religious album Shireen had recorded at the beginning of her career, stressing that she had made the album when she was committed to a contract with him.
With regards to the case, Shireen’s current producer and business manager Nasr Mahrous has stressed that all of Ahmad’s allegations are lies and that the voice on the religious album does not belong to Shireen. He added that Ahmad has no right to demand anything of Shireen because the contract with him is no longer valid.
