ALBAWABA - In the latest dispute between the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and her ex-husband Hossam Habib, the New Cairo Prosecutor’s Office decided to dismiss the two, after they attended an investigation session in the presence of each of them’s defense.
In her statements before the prosecution, Sherine accused Hossam Habib of assaulting her and beating her leaving her with severe wounds in the head, meanwhile, Habib accused her of destroying their studio, causing damage to some of the equipment, and verbally assaulting him with insults.
A source close to Sherine Abdel Wahab revealed that Hossam offered her reconciliation and waived those records after the end of the investigation session, but she strongly refused, stressing that he had caused her great psychological and physical harm.
In addition, the source explained that Sherine can request a waiver of the reports during the coming period, especially since she confirmed to the audience that she is not psychologically qualified at present to reconcile.
Nonetheless, the Egyptian artist and her brother Mohamed Abdel Wahab were together during the prosecution, where he attended the investigation after Sherine allowed him to do so, especially since a reconciliation took place between them on the second day after Hossam Habib attacked her.
