Artist Sherine Abdel Wahab filed a formal report with the Fifth Settlement Department earlier today, on Saturday. She has taken legal action against her ex-husband, artist Hossam Habib, for allegedly robbing her of her cell phone and cash from her purse following a brutal assault at their shared First Settlement apartment.
According to the police report, Sherine was shocked to find Hossam Habib at her apartment, which she used as a recording studio for her music. He seized her phone and brutally attacked her, leaving her with bruises all over her body. She begged him to refund the money she had paid him to establish the studio.
According to a source in the security industry, Hossam Habib managed to get out of his house when his ex-girlfriend Sherine Abdel Wahab reported him for assault, along with a medical report detailing her injuries (including a serious cut to her head and several scrapes and bruises).
While preparing the complaint at the Fifth Settlement Police Department, Sherine disclosed that her ex-husband lives in a villa inside the Katameya Dunes Complex. They sent a security detail to apprehend him, but they were unable to locate him within the estate.
