One year before the Ramadan 2001 lineup begins, Egyptian actress and performer Sharihan has already come to a disagreement with the producers of next year’s Fawazeer Ramadan (Ramadan Riddles), in which she is scheduled to star.

According to Al Nujoum magazine the problem revolves mainly around the choice of director for the 2001 Ramadan Riddles show, which marks the return of Sharihan to the small screen.

It all started when the production team nominated director Khari Bshara for the job but where faced with an unexplained rejection.

Sharihan took the opportunity to nominate her first choice, director Jamal Abdul Hamid. However, her offer was also declined.

Consequently, the production company took its turn and suggested Mohammad Abdul Nabi for the job, taking into consideration that the young man was the protégé of famous director Fahmi Abdul Hamid.

But, Sharihan was not happy with the choice and nominated Amro Abideen

Yet, again, she was snubbed. Abideen said that he was still exhausted for working on this year’s Alf Leila Wa Leila (A Thousand and One Nights).

He verified his inability to direct Ramadan Riddles when he was told that shooting would have to begin one month after Ramadan ends. – Alabawaba.com.
