The founder of young Egyptian singer ‘Ruby’ Dr. Sharif Sabri has decided to stop being her business manager and will no longer have a say in any of her work. He gave rights to businessman Dr. Walid Mustafa the owner of the beach ‘Lablaj’ in Marina to be Ruby’s new manager.
The decision came when the two managers met at Al Marina beach during a night party; however, Ruby was no present to seal the agreement, yet she was well aware of the deal and of the new contract.
Ruby had preferred not to be there and instead to have her previous manager Sabri sign the new contract on her behalf. Sabri will be paid 2 million maybe 3 million dollars for selling off Ruby.
According to an Egyptian site many say that there have been great quarrels between Ruby and Sabri especially after the failure of her last video clip “Misheet Wara Ihsasi” (Walked behind my feelings). To add to the failure of the video clip and even the album itself, Ruby hardly had any concerts during the summer. Needless to say that at Ruby’s last concert that she held in Alexandria she was there on her own with a manager that was assigned by Sabri himself.
