Sharif Sabri refuses to spoil Ruby

Controversial Egyptian director Sharif Sabri has denied circulating rumors that Egyptian singer Ruby has signed a contract to star in the new movie “Dala’ Al Banat” (Spoiled Girls), which is directed by Tariq Salama and produced by Mahmoud Hariri. Sharif, who is Ruby’s business manager, stressed that only he can guide the singer in the right path and bring her success.

Sharif added that Ruby would not star in any film unless he has a say in it and is directing it because he knows what is best for the singer. Sharif stressed that the singer is extremely busy at the moment preparing for her upcoming album and filming new music videos.

It was rumored that was nominated for the leading role in the film “Dala’ Al Banat” alongside famous Egyptian bodybuilder champion Al Shahat Mabrouk and Olympic golden medal winner Karam Jaber. Ruby is to play the role of a very attractive aerobics instructor that works with a young athletic champion trying to help him win the bodybuilding medal. Throughout the course of the film, the young athlete falls for his instructor and a very heated love affair begins.

It was added that Ruby will be performing a number of songs throughout the film and it has been revealed that she has been offered a very high wage for her role. It is not understood why the singer has been offered such a high wage despite the fact that it is only her second film and her first did not mark any significant success.

Ruby has returned once more to her singing career, and is in the process of preparing her upcoming album and is choosing new songs with Sharif. The singer plans on filming three songs, which will be featured in the new album, at the same time, reported the Egyptian daily, Al Gomhoryiah.

Ruby had refused to hold any concerts during Ramadan and turned all offers that she had received. The singer made it a point when appearing in public to avoid any entertaining activity like singing or dancing as a sign of respect to the holy month.
