The Egyptian airport witnessed a comical incident while the folklore popular Egyptian singer Sha’ban Abed Al Rahim known as ‘Sha’bola’ was traveling with his wife, daughter and granddaughter to the Saudi Kingdom to perform Omrah, religious pilgrimage, at the end of Ramadan. The singer was surprised to find out that the authorities at the airport refused to give his granddaughter a visa to travel with them.

According to the London daily Elaph, the workers at the Egyptian airlines told Shabola the reason she can’t travel with them is because she has no visa for Saudi Arabia.

Shabola had thought that he wouldn’t be facing this type of problem since his granddaughter is only few months old, and that the authority won’t take the matter seriously and allow her to travel with them.

Shabola tried his best with the authorities at the airport to let his granddaughter travel with them, yet he failed to do so. Shabola had to give his granddaughter to a relative who came with them to the airport to say goodbye and moved on with his wife and daughter on their way to Mecca. His daughter did not stop crying, because she wanted her enfant child to be with her on this holy trip.
