Lebanese singer Carol Samaha is preparing to enter the acting world through the new film “Bahr Al Gharam” (Sea of love) alongside Haifa Wahbi, Wael Kfoury and others. The film is a production of Pepsi and will be direction by Ahmad Al Mahdi.

Carol is very anxious about entering the acting world and the fear of failure, but is hoping that her recent acting experience in the play “Zanubia”, which was a production of the Rahbani Brothers, will help her. The singer stated that she had gone through extensive acting lessons for the play and is counting on what she had learned to help her in the new role in the film.

Carol is also preparing to complete the recording of her upcoming album, and has already completed five songs. Most of the songs are sung in the Egyptian dialect, which the singer considers was the reason behind her popularity.

She stressed that she will keep singing in the Egyptian dialect despite strong criticism she received from the Lebanese media.

Carol denied rumors that disputes exist between her and other Lebanese female singers and stated that she has a mutual understanding and respect with all of them. She added that if she runs into one of them by accident she happily exchanges greeting, but admitted she is not close friends with any of them.
