Doctors at the Al Salam International hospital in Al Muhandiseen-Cairo have announced that the condition of Egyptian actress Sanaa Jamil is improving gradually. Doctors have taken away some respiratory machines that have been helping her breath saying she is able to breathe normally now.

According to the UAE daily, Al Bayan, the actress will begin chemotherapy sessions to treat cancerous tumors found in her left lung.

Doctors prohibited visitors and demanded that Sanaa be taken to the ICU after her left lung stopped functioning properly. A team of well-known doctors monitored her condition by the hour and after taking several tests, results showed that the actress is suffering from a cancerous tumor in her left lung and immediate treatment needed to be taken to help restore her failing respiratory system.

Sanaa had experienced harsh health conditions while shooting her scenes for the Ramadan series “Abiad x Abiad” (White n White), and dismissed it as fatigue resulting from long working hours. Upon seeing her condition worsening, her husband admitted her into the hospital after consulting with her present doctor Yahia Said.

Once Sanaa entered the hospital a number of tests were made revealing the extremely complex health condition. A large number of prominent actors including Samira Ahmad, Jamil Ratib, Lubna Abdul Aziz, Salwa Khatab, and director Ahmad Saqr, visited Sanaa at the hospital. The actress received a phone call as well from the prominent Kuwaiti actress Amal Abudallah wishing her a quick recovery. – Albawaba.com
