Salma Hayek is just kind of like "whatever" to Hollywood these days, but the Mexican American actress with Lebanese roots is still managing to stay crazy busy.

She says she's not being hunted down as much for roles in LA, but, quite frankly, she just doesn't care! She's got a hot French billionaire hubby, some humanitarian work, and her own personal productions like the animated film version of "The Prophet", based on Lebanese author Kahlil Gibran's book of prose poetry, to keep her schedule plenty full, reported The Daily Star. It's no big deal for her to play hard to get with Hollywood.

The artist's labor of love premiered in LA just last month at the Bing Theatre in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Selma not only produced the film, she also voiced one of the characters, the protagonist's mother Kamila. Islam-loving star Liam Neeson piped into the project with his voice box too for the role of Mustafa.

The International actress even managed to hop over to Beirut to promote the project back in April. She was warmly recieved by the Lebanese people, to say the least, and she enjoyed getting in touch with her family roots.

The film is scheduled to hit screens in the USA this coming weekend, and soon we dearly hope it will be on display in our region's theaters too.
