Lebanese diva Sabah has announced that she has broken her engagement to former Mr. Lebanon Amr Mihio, whom she has been engaged to for several months. Sabah revealed that she has decided to call of the engagement due to the age difference between them, saying that despite the fact that she truly loved him for his gentleness and kindness.
According to the Arab magazine, Al Waad, Sabah stressed that her relationship with Amr was special, but the age difference kept creating tension and uneasiness for her. Sabah added that she gave her niece instructions to place food poison in her meals if she ever again thought of falling in love or getting married.
Sabah’s sudden decision comes as a surprise to everyone, especially since she has been preparing for her wedding date for the longest time and had in fact decided to hold it on her 90th birthday. She had been very precise about every single detail regarding the wedding wanting her big day to be unforgettable.
The singer had even made it a point to make a number of visits to different doctors wanting to make sure getting married would not affect her in any way. The first doctor she had visited was her orthopedic doctor who advised Sabah to undergo physiotherapy at least twice every week.
A second doctor Sabah had visited was a heart surgeon, who assured her that marriage will not affect her health in any way and that she should not fear being intimate with her husband. The doctor made it a point to advise Mihio to be gentle and patient with Sabah and requested him to avoid being to forceful with her even when he simply hugs her.
Sabah had refused to undergo a plastic surgery for another facelift, especially after doctors advised her not to. Doctors warned Sabah that a facelift at this point will certainly cause deformation to her since she has already had so many done before.
Recently, Sabah and Mihio spent some time away from the scenes on the beaches of Alexandria-Egypt. During their vacation, Sabah revealed that she is seriously considering finding a permanent residence in Egypt, after finding the peace of mind she has been searching for.
Sabah expressed that she holds so much love towards Egypt and its people making her decision for permanent residence an easy one to take. Amr has expressed his support towards any decision Sabah makes saying that he is behind her one hundred percent, adding that he too finds the idea of living in Egypt to be very appealing and is more than ready for it.
With regards to their relationship, Sabah admitted that she knows the age difference between her and Amr is very big, but is confident that what they have is very special and will last a lifetime. She added that Amr holds all the qualities any woman looks for in a man and is hopeful that their marriage will prove to be a huge success. Sabah had previously left Lebanon almost two months ago to reside in the US, but returned to Lebanon after her fiancé Miho was denied a visiting visa to the US. – Albawaba.com
