Sources have revealed that rising Syrian singer Ruwaida Attieh is soon to release her second album, titled “Khisamak,” and featuring ten songs in the Lebanese, Syrian, Gulf, and Egyptian dialects.

Ruwaida worked with a number of prominent composers, including Salah Al Sharnoubi, on the album. She stated that “working with him is a dream come true.”

The singer revealed that she has yet to decide on a title for the album, but plans on recording four music videos.

Ruwaida admitted that her newfound fame of the past year has at times been overwhelming, because it puts pressure on her and demands that she live up to people’s expectations.

She added that she loves the idea of fame, but does not allow herself to get carried away by it.

Ruwaida elucidated that she does not mind being criticized about her constant change of appearance, but what matters to her most is that people love her for her voice.
