Drag Race season 16 promises to be a fan-favorite with new twists and surprises.

The wait is over, Drag Race fans! The new season of the Emmy-winning reality show is finally here, and it promises to be one of the most exciting and dramatic seasons ever.

With 14 fierce queens competing for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar, the stakes are higher than ever. But that’s not all: this season will also feature some major twists and changes that will shake up the competition and keep the viewers on their toes.

One of the new twists is the “Rate-a-Queen” challenge, where the queens will have to judge each other’s performances in the first Maxi Challenge, which will be a talent show extravaganza. According to the trailer, RuPaul will not be judging the queens, but instead, they will be judging each other. This will surely create some drama and tension among the contestants, as they will have to rank the best and the worst of the week.

Another twist is the return of the “immunity”, which will allow a certain queen to avoid elimination. This twist was last seen in season six, and it was controversial among the fans and the queens, as some felt it was unfair and gave an advantage to some contestants over others. It is not clear how the immunity will work this season, or who will get it, but it will definitely add some suspense and unpredictability to the show.

In addition to the twists, the season will also feature some amazing guest judges, such as Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, and Dua Lipa, who will join RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, and Carson Kressley on the panel. The guest judges will offer their expertise and feedback to the queens, as well as some fun and fabulous moments.

The season 16 cast is also one of the most diverse and talented ever, with some big names and some newcomers in the drag scene. Some of the queens to watch out for are Dawn, the “ethereal elf” from Brooklyn, who has a unique and whimsical style; Xunami Muse, the drag daughter of All Stars 8 finalist Kandy Muse, who is a fierce queen; Amanda Tori Meeting, who has the best drag name ever and a hilarious personality; Nymphia Wind, the first ever Taiwanese drag queen on the show, who is stunning and charismatic; and Geneva Karr, the first ever Mexican-born queen on the US franchise, who is glamorous and fierce.

Drag Race season 16 is set to be a fan-favorite, with a lot of twists, surprises, drama, and fun. The show will premiere on Friday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. on MTV and WOW Presents Plus. Don’t miss it, and remember: if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else? Can I get an amen?
