Immediately after the launch of her latest album “Awil Marah” (The First Time), Lebanese singer Diana Haddad is attacked by strong rumors that state she has gotten a divorce from her husband, Suhail Abdoul. Rumors had it that the couple had gotten a divorce after she began working with a new director, instead of Suhail, for one of her music videos, reported the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh.
Diana denied the rumor stressing that her relationship with her husband is on great terms and that they are living a happy life together. She added that rumors have a way of always coming out when a singer releases a new work. The singer revealed that one of the biggest proofs that she and her husband are not facing any problems is the fact that he was present at the press conference she held with the launch of her album.
A number of satellite television music channels have begun airing the latest music video "Waili" (Oh My) by Diana, which audience have been anxiously waiting for since the summer of 2003. Alam El Phan Production company, which is responsible for releasing Diana's albums, has launched a massive advertising campaign for the album.
Diana's album, which has been officially released, was to feature 11 songs, but the singer changed her mind at the last minute and added two new songs she felt would make the album more interesting. The singer is hopeful that the album will find great success.
Diana had previously given a taste of her work before its release during the show Star Academy on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC). The singer was the guest of honor in which she sang a collection of her songs including "Waili", which mesmerized the audience, giving a taste of what her new album will be like.
Haddad pressed herself hard in the past period in order to finalize her album, wanting to make sure all the details are taken care of to ensure that the album is of the highest standards. Part of the preparations for the album was the filming of the main song of the album "Awal Marah" (The First Time), which is also the title of the new work. The filming of the clip lasted for two days and was done at one of Dubai's prestigious hotels.
