Egyptian actor, Amir Kararah, went from zero to hero in the Arab world when he took a leading role in the huge hit, 'Ruby', last year. But it seems like the star is less than grateful for the opportunity.

Attending the Jordanian annual festival, Jordan Tayki Awards 2012, Amir said that starring in 'Ruby' was the "biggest failure" of his acting career. The hearthrob explained that the script would often be changed last minute by writer, Claudia Marshlayan, and leading lady, Cyrine Abdel Nour. Amir was a little sore that no other cast or crew were consulted when this happened, leaving upsets off-screen.

Meanwhile, the hit TV drama continues to win awards with leading man, Maksim Khalil, nominated for best actor at the same festival. However, the Syrian star did not attend in order to show respect for the chaotic conditions in his homeland.
