Lebanese mega star Majida Al Roumi has announced that her new yet-to-be-released album might include two songs composed by famous Iraqi singer Kathem El Saher.
According to Al Ittihad newspaper, the songstress said that she is trying very hard to include both “ballad like songs” in her new album.
Meanwhile, Roumi commented about the duos upcoming ballad, sung to the lyrics of the late love poet Nizar Qabani, saying that they are constantly rehearsing the song, which Saher composed (the singer refuses to sing to anyone else’s music), and “it will be a great surprise for everyone.”
Roumi and Saher participated once before for her song Tawq El Yasamine The Jasmine Necklace), from her last album entitled, Ahibak Wa Ba’ad (I Love You and Still…).
Tawq El Yasamine was another of the many poems both singers have adopted from Qabani. – Albawaba.com.
