At the start of the New Year, the production company Rotana was successful in finally reaching an agreement with prominent Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo, know as the Arab Artist, to have him join their long list of singers. Rotana’s general manager has signed a five-year contract with Abdo stating that the company is responsible for all of the singer’s work and the singer must submit five different albums during this period.
The contract also says that the company will produce two music videos with the release of each album, which will be aired on Rotana music satellite channel. This step marks the first time the singer has signed a contract with a production company since the start of his career.
The singer is scheduled to hold a grand performance during the Dubai Nights Festival, which has become an annual event featuring some of the most prominent singers. The singer’s concert will be held on the third day of the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.
