The Lebanese artist Rita Botros criticized her colleagues specifically those artists who show off their children’s pictures like the Lebanese artist Amal Hijazi who released pictures of her and her new born son Karim.
Amal’s son won the title of best looking baby on the internet. Before being criticized herself, Rita said that her sister the retired artist only showed her daughter’s pictures after she turned four years old.
As for some female artist, Rita said that they make profits out of their kid’s pictures and others take advantage of their kid’s pictures to get sympathy from their fans. Rita points out how the famous Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi felt bad being away from her kids and how she cried in front of the camera.
As for her art career, Rita will be filming a new video clip for her new song “Ya Gdamah Matarah” with the director Walid Nasif whom she had already worked with on a previous clip for the song “Shaklak Ma Yetamanish”.
It is needless to say that Rita received a cinema offer from the producer Adel Hosny when she was a guest on the entertainment shoe “Oyoun Beirut” (Beirut’s Eyes) which is aired on “Orbit” satellite channel. Hosny called in live and talked to Rita telling her that a cinema offer is waiting for her once she come back to Cairo.
