MBC2 presenter, Razan al Moughrabi is to begin shooting the scenes for the new film "Halit Hub" (A Dose of Love) alongside Egyptian actors Hani Salama, Sharif Ramzi, and singer Tamer Husni. The film's story is by Tamer and directed by Saed Hindawi, dealing with a social dilemma of a family that is separated due to divorce and the two sons are divided between the parents and live apart for a period of twenty years.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, when the family is united after such a long time, a culture clash occurs between the brothers due to their living in different environments and disputes occur when the two fall in love with the same girl, played by Razan. The director of the film expressed his joy of working with Razan and Tamer for the first time, especially in a film that deals with a critical issue that has become a common problem among Egyptian families today.
Tamer on the other hand revealed that he is somewhat worried about entering the acting world, especially after he had previously decided to put acting aside and concentrate on his music career. When he presented the story of the film to his friends and Hindawi, he received the green light and was assured that the story is an important issue to tackle. He added that Razan is due to be in Egypt by next week to begin all necessary working sessions.
Late last year, Lebanese beautiful actress Noor has denied rumors circulating recently about her engagement in a love affair with Hani Salama. A weekly magazine, which name was not revealed, reported that the two stars are living a love story following their work on the movie "Akadimiyet Al Hob" (Love Academy). Noor explained that what was reported in the magazine is a lie, which is intended to defame her reputation and her colleague's. She said that their relationship does not exceed that of work.
For his part, Hani expressed his disturbance towards the rumors saying that he only carries respect and honor for Noor, whom he first met in "Ashaab Willa Business" (Friends or Business) movie. Salama had entered the acting world by mere coincidence, six years ago, as Yousef Shahine’s Production Company made an ad requesting new faces, Hani was chosen to make his acting debut in the movie “Arak Al Balah” (The Sweat of Dates).
Razan said that despite criticism regarding the manner she acts on her shows, she will continue to always introduce new and funky techniques to allure her audience. She expressed that it is her duty to always appear amusing and it’s this trait that has gained her popularity worldwide.
