Lebanese television presenter Razan Al Moughrabi was shocked to learn of previous rumors that Egyptian director Saed Hindawi had said that the reason behind her pulling out of the film “Halit Hub” (A Dose of Love) was due to the fact that she failed miserably in acting tests. Razan stressed that the only reason she pulled out of the film was because she received another offer for a film, which she felt best fits in and is suitable for her character.

According to the London based magazine, Laha, Razan added that if Saed did in fact made such comments publicly she will not answer him back because she considers him as one of her friends.

It was rumored that Hindawi has announced that Razan did not pull out of his film “Halit Hub”, but was rather stripped of the role for her lacking the talent to act. The director had at first put Razan under a number of acting tests and the end results were that she failed miserably and is not the least bit capable of acting.

Saed immediately removed Razan’s name from the cast of the film and replaced her with the actress Donia. It was previously rumored that Razan had made the decision to pull out of film due to the fact that she was unable to get a vacation from her previously scheduled television work. Razan was to begin shooting the scenes for the new film alongside Egyptian actors Hani Salama, Sharif Ramzi, and singer Tamer Husni.

On a different note, the organizing committee of the Fifth Doha Song Festival has officially chosen Razan to be the official presenter of the event. Razan will be responsible for holding interviews with the participating singers and will be giving complete coverage of press conferences that will be taking place on a daily basis throughout the festival. Razan is due to arrive in Doha by the end of this month alongside her business manager. Once Razan arrives, she will resume preparations for the episodes that will be broadcasted during the festival.

Recently, Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama denied circulating rumors that he will be singing a trio with Razan and Spanish international singer Julio Iglesias Junior. Ragheb stressed that he is not willing to hold any sort of trio or even a duet with anyone unless he finds the right voice that matches his and will add to his career.

Rumors had it that Ragheb, Razan and Julio were holding extensive work sessions to choose the words for a new trio they will hold together. The new song will be a combination of English, French, and Arabic, and is scheduled to be out by early January 2004. Razan had revealed that the song would be featured in her upcoming first album, which she has completed choosing most of the songs for. The new album consists of mainly rap songs. - Albawaba.com
