Razan and the bus driver

Between Cairo and Beirut and capitals of the world, Lebanese broadcaster and actress Razan Moughrabi will be spending the month of February filming the scenes of her new film “Hukum Al Gharam” (Love Sentence). In the film she plays the daughter of minister and from an elite family and falls in love with a young man, who is forced to work as a bus driver, played by Egyptian actor Khaled Al Nabawi.

 

Due to her preoccupation with the film, which is directed by Fakhri El Din Najida, Razan had turned down her nomination to a number of films along with different Egyptian stars. The actress added that her occupation with filming episodes for her new program “Shahrazan” on the Arab satellite channel MBC.

 

Razan also noted that she is very happy to be working with Khaled, who had recently made the first steps to international stardom through his role in the film ‘Kingdom of Heaven’. Razan stated that her role in the film is a romantic one, which was one of the elements that attracted her most, adding that it will give her the opportunity to prove herself as a talented actress away from the usual role she plays of a foreign girl.

 

The actress stressed that she is honored to be nominated to so many different films, proof that Egyptian producers and directors have faith in her capabilities as an actress.

 

On a different note, Razan will be travelling to Los Angeles, London, and Bangkok in early March to film new episodes of her new show, and in between will make time to film scenes for the new film.

 

Recently, the actress took residence in Al Zamalik Cairo and bought an apartment, after she realized that she was spending lots of time in Egypt.
