Rania Al Kurdi sings for Ahmad Fishawi

Jordanian singer/actress Rania Al Kurdi has just completed shooting her newest music video “Kalamtak Ikteer” (I Talked to you a lot) in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Egypt. It has been revealed that the song will be used in the upcoming film “Al Hasah Al Sab’a” (The Seventh Sense), which Rania will play the female leading role in alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Fishawi.

 

According to the London based Elaph, Rania sought the assistance of fashion designer Abeer Al Ansari for the clip that was shot in the streets of Egypt under the direction of Mohammad Jum’aa. The producing company Dollar Films, which is financing the film, has taken on the responsibility of also financing Rania’s clip.

 

Rania had recently announced that she will no longer host the popular television show Superstar, after having participated in it for the past two successful seasons. The singer added that she will not be presenting any television programs and will dedicate all her time to her singing and acting career. 

 

Rania made her announcement of not being a part of Superstar during a celebration held for the cast of her upcoming film "The Seventh Sense" in Cairo, which will mark her first leading role in the cinema alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Fishawi.  

 

Rania revealed that being a television presenter was just a temporary phase and her real passion is her singing career, and the film is just a new challenge for her to test her ability in the acting world.  

 

Rania revealed that if she went on with Superstar for a third season that will make all her fans look at her from that dimension only. Rumors had it that Rania left the show because she had disputes with costume designer Nicole Bardawile. Rania did not deny the fact that she had a hard time dealing with Nicole and that she had some clashes with her but stressed that this was not the real reason behind her leaving.
