The famous Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alameh filed a lawsuit against the newspaper “Al Mihwar Al Arabi,” published in Paris.
Alameh accused the newspaper of trying to tarnish his life and his music career by slandering him.
The paper accused Alameh of operating as an agent for Hezbollah, on special missions to gulf countries.
Alameh denied the allegations, asserting that he has no relationship with any political or religious factions.
Alameh did say that he supports those who are fighting for Lebanon, and that he believes in them because they won the war against Israel in the summer of 2006.
